Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician. The ideal person will work closely with individuals, particularly children, who have health challenges and developmental disabilities. This role is essential in improving the quality of life for a child.
Duties
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct care, including support during therapy sessions and daily activities
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress
- Work collaboratively with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in behavior management strategies
- Support an individual with disabilities in the home setting, fostering independence and skill development
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is preferred
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and patience in all interactions
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and respond appropriately to the needs of clients

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 10 per week
