Job Summary
The School Psychologist will be responsible for providing psychological services to students, families, and school staff to support the academic and social-emotional success of all students. This is a part time opportunity (3 days a week) as replacement for the current school year and may continue for the new school year as well.
Duties
- Conduct psychological testing and assessments to evaluate students' needs
- Provide individual and group counseling to students
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop intervention strategies for students
- Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Conduct crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and interventions
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- CA State license or certification as a School Psychologist (PPS Credentials)
- Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting
- Knowledge of psychological principles, theories, and practices related to child development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with school staff, students, and families
- Ability to conduct assessments, interpret data, and make recommendations based on findings
- Familiarity with special education laws and regulations

Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour
