Vice President, Chief Medical Officer and Central Region Chair of Psychiatry Hackensack Meridian Health Carrier Clinic Belle Mead, New Jersey   Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Vice President, Chief Medical Officer, and Central Region Chair of Psychiatry at Carrier Clinic in Belle Mead, New Jersey. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic physician leader to join a growing network and shape the future of behavioral health care. The ideal candidate will possess proven leadership experience, strong communication abilities, and a deep commitment to patient care and quality improvement.   RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide clinical leadership and oversight for psychiatric services at Carrier Clinic. Chair the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. Advise the President, Chief Hospital Executive, Central Region President, and Board of Trustees on clinical affairs, quality goals, and education. Advance the Carrier Clinic and /'Carrier Behavioral Health/' brand on a state and national level. Oversee medical staff recruitment, performance evaluations, and continuing education. Develop and implement clinical programs and policies. Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (Joint Commission, CMS, State). Lead performance improvement and patient safety initiatives. Manage departmental budgets and resources. Collaborate with other regional chairs to develop and implement a strategic plan for psychiatry within the Central Region of HMH. Provide leadership to employed psychiatrists within the Central Region, including recruitment, evaluation, and mentorship. Represent Carrier Clinic in the community and with external agencies.   HIGHLIGHTS: Join a collaborative network of experienced physicians, specialists, and support staff who foster a culture of collaboration with strong clinical support. Eligibility for faculty appointment to the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.   REQUIREMENTS: M.D. or D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School. Board Certified in Psychiatry. Current New Jersey medical license, CDS, and DEA certificates. Minimum of 7 years of experience with progressive leadership responsibility. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.   COMPENSATION: Starting Base Salary: $383,406.40   HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in relevant skills and competencies. Geographic Location: Cost of living and market rates for the specific location. Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty.
