About Job
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled counselor/therapist (LPC, LICSW, LMFT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals. This position requires strong clinical skills, empathy, and a commitment to helping clients achieve their therapeutic goals in a supportive environment.
The position requires the provider to:
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients’ needs and goals
- Provide evidence-based therapy (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, psychodynamic therapy) to clients across diverse populations
- Facilitate individual therapy sessions (couples and family therapy sessions can be offered if the practitioner desires to)
- Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Provide referrals to external resources and support services when necessary
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards as outlined by licensing boards and professional organizations
- Hold a Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Hold an active and unrestricted license (e.g., LPC, LICSW, LMFT) in the state of Alabama (Alabama must be your primary license)
- Must be comfortable working with LGBTQ+ clients
Scheduling is flexible. The position allows the provider to set their own schedule but two days must be in office.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $80.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
