Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of patient information and ensuring a seamless experience for individuals on Home Health Services. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and verify patient information, including medical history and insurance details.
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the visit calendar efficiently.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely processing of patient referrals.
  • Handle incoming calls and inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
  • Support office management tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

Experience

  • Previous experience in office management or medical office management is preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare operations is a plus.
  • Knowledge of health information management practices is beneficial.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 28 per week

  • Monday to Friday
