Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to helping individuals and families navigate through challenges, providing support and resources to enhance their well-being. This role requires a deep understanding of social work principles, crisis management, and community resources, as well as the ability to build trusting relationships with clients.

Duties

  • Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies, ensuring clients receive immediate assistance.
  • Offer counseling services, including addiction counseling and motivational interviewing techniques.
  • Mentor clients in workforce development initiatives, helping them gain skills for employment.
  • Supervise case management activities, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive support.
  • Collaborate with community organizations and agencies to connect clients with necessary resources.
  • Advocate for child welfare by working closely with families and children in need of assistance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and case files.

  • Proficiency in crisis management techniques to effectively handle urgent situations.
  • Experience in supervising staff or volunteers within a social work setting.
