Come be an After School Counselor in the KidsPlace Program at the Stamford JCC!

We are looking for high school and college students to work daily mentoring, leading and participating in fun recreational activities with our elementary school students.

All positions require attention to detail, creativity, professionalism and willingness to work with a group of people towards the common goal of creating an outstanding program. The safety of the children is the number one priority. Counselors must be able to keep their group safe at all times and provide a fun, nurturing setting.

Requirements:

Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.

Applicants will ideally have experience working with children but is not required.

Must enjoy working with elementary-age children, participating in activities, and must be flexible and adapt well to change.

Needs leadership skills, enjoy working in a team setting, and have the desire to build relationships with children, parents, peers, and co-workers.

This is a part-time, hourly position. Hourly rate is commensurate with experience.

Pay: $16.35 - $17.50 per hour
