Fee-For-Service Psychotherapist

New Generation Mental Health Counseling is a private practice whose mission is to provide our clients with the highest quality evidence-based psychotherapy. We specialize in working with adolescents and adults struggling with emotional, behavioral, and relational difficulties. We are looking for a passionate clinician driven to provide quality care to their clients. We are looking for individuals who excel in an independent fast-paced environment. NGMHC will provide you with billing and referral services. Compensation is Fee-For-Service, ranging from $60-$80 based on experience.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Minimum of 15 weekly sessions
  • Maintain treatment records and reports, including progress notes and treatment plans.
  • Outreaching potential clients and managing referrals.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge and understanding of clinical counseling principles, programs, and methodology
  • Knowledge and regular use of evidence-based practices. (ACT, CBT, DBT)
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques
  • Professional Liability Insurance is needed before hire
  • License in New York State in good standing

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of two years experience post master's clinical experience
  • Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field.
  • LMHC or LCSW

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Brooklyn, NY 11211
