What You'll Do As a Behavioral Support Specialist
- One-on-One Impact: Deliver individualized instruction and behavioral support in clinic, home, and community settings.
- Skill Building: Help children develop essential life skills, including communication, socialization, play, toilet training, and fine/gross motor abilities.
- Data-Driven Care: Accurately track and report client progress toward behavioral goals using proven ABA techniques.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Partner with fellow technicians and clinical supervisors to ensure high-quality, consistent care for every client.
- Ongoing Training: Complete a paid, two-week comprehensive training program designed to equip you for success - no prior ABA experience required, but preferred!
- Heart for Helping: A genuine passion for working with children with autism and developmental disabilities.
- Strong Work Ethic: Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to excellence.
- Team-Oriented: Able to build positive relationships with peers, supervisors, and families.
- Resilient & Patient: Capable of staying calm and compassionate in challenging moments.
- Physically Capable: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and engage in active movement throughout the day (sitting, standing, walking, running, bending).
