Summary

We are seeking a passionate full-time School Psychologist to join our team at 10 Points close to Tempe, AZ. In this role, you will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and specialists to create supportive environments for special needs children of the Elementary and Middle age group with a manageable caseload. Your expertise will be vital in developing individualized education plans and providing therapeutic support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students with special needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents.
• Provide counseling and psychotherapy to students facing emotional or behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive learning environment.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary to ensure student safety.
• Assist in the development of safety plans for students at risk.
• Provide training and support for school staff on best practices for working with special needs children.

Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or developmental delays is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques.
