The College of Health Professions at Mercer University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty member in the Department of Clinical Psychology. Responsibilities include doctoral student classroom instruction and evaluation; small group supervision; advisement and mentoring of students; admissions and accreditation activities; committee involvement; and scholarly activities to include publications, grants, presentations, and collaborative projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong research orientation with established or potential for extramural support, and a commitment to excellence in education. Qualifications include a degree from an APA-accredited PhD or PsyD Clinical Psychology program and completion of an APA-accredited internship. Active, unrestricted license to practice as a clinical psychologist in Georgia or immediate eligibility required. The ability to teach foundational courses in Statistics, Research Design, and Psychometric Theory and Assessment is required, and the ability to teach discipline-specific courses in Cognitive and Affective Processes and Lifespan Developmental Psychology is highly desired. Prior experience teaching, supervising, and mentoring graduate students is preferred. This position will be a 12-month appointment based at Mercer University’s Cecil B. Day campus in Atlanta, Georgia.
