- Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for a diverse population, including adults and older adults with neurological, psychiatric, and medical conditions.
- Perform cognitive assessments to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning for conditions such as dementia, traumatic brain injury, stroke, epilepsy, and neurodegenerative disorders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including neurologists, psychiatrists, rehabilitation specialists, and primary care providers, to deliver patient-centered care.
- Provide feedback to patients, families, and referral sources with detailed reports and recommendations.
- Participate in neuropsychological research projects, contributing to advancements in clinical practice.
- Supervise and mentor psychology trainees, as appropriate.
- Attend didactic training, case conferences, and continuing education workshops to stay abreast of developments in the field.
- Education: Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA/CPA-accredited program.
- Internship: Completion of an APA/CPA-accredited internship with substantial training in neuropsychology.
- Experience: Strong foundation in neuropsychological assessment and interpretation of cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Eligibility: Meets criteria for licensure in Georgia as a psychology trainee or postdoctoral fellow.
