Sound Decisions is seeking compassionate, motivated individuals to join our team as Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs). This entry-level role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping individuals with serious mental illness and is eager to learn and grow within the field of community mental health.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Educational Psychology, or Rehabilitation Counseling
• CANS and ANSA certified or able to become certified within 14 days
• CPR certified or able to become certified within 14 days

About the Role:
As a QMHP with Sound Decisions, you will provide community-based case management and support services to adults diagnosed with serious mental illness. Our program emphasizes meeting clients where they are whether at their home, shelters, day programs, or medical appointments to help them improve quality of life and reach recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attends all scheduled staff trainings, team meetings, supervision sessions.
• Returns calls and responds to emails promptly.
• Maintains a positive attitude and communicates effectively with staff and clients
• Must be organized, self-motivated, dependable and have time management skills.
• Dress and demeanor are professional
• Valid driver's license and at least 3 years of driving history
• Reliable, insured vehicle
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and web-based documentation systems
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required
• Provide ongoing monitoring, support and behavioral health support services to our members and their families.
