Knowledge And Skills
- Part-time support in school based settings in North Austin. ****
- Master's degree in Special Education or related field
- Current and valid BCBA certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Valid Texas Driver's license and safe driving record

Knowledge And Skills
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis, function analysis and assessment, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, and adaptive life skills
- Ability to work with a variety of clients in regard to age, functionality with minimal direction
- Possess strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Develop behavior plans and treatment plans for students as well as facilitate appropriate behavior strategies
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skills assessments using evidence-based tools
- Maintain compliance with relevant ethical guidelines, laws, and regulations (e.g., BACB Code of Ethics)
- Provide ongoing support to direct support professionals, ABA implementers and other individuals in support roles for families
- Assist in the development and implementation of assessment tools to conduct functional assessments and analysis when appropriate
- Create/maintain a data collection system to establish baseline and programmatic efficacy for students; analyze data to implement best practices
- Provide appropriate service to each student on the caseload
- Establish open, frequent communication with parents and all related service staff
- Make recommendations for the time needed to implement behavioral goals
- Participate in appropriate staff meetings as requested
- Establish and maintain a positive working atmosphere with staff in order to encourage a positive learning environment for students
- Daily attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of the job
- Ability to adjust and adapt to a multitude of situations in the school environment
