About Job
- Handle all general inquiry calls from potential customers and referral sources.
- Schedule assessments for our Aurora Behavioral Health Tempe and Glendale locations, and/or refers patients to appropriate community resources.
- Gather information from callers to complete detailed intake form to determine appropriate level of care needed or to make referrals to appropriate resources.
- Act as a liaison for hospital referrals transferring for behavioral health inpatient treatment.
- Work with nursing, medical, and other disciplines to coordinate care for patients.
- Must be trained in Suicide Intervention Skills or willing to obtain certification i.e.; ASIST
- Bachelors degree in social work or counseling "preferred", high school diploma required,
- Ideal candidate is moving towards obtaining licensure
- Knowledge of DSM-V criteria, community resources, assessment and crisis intervention.
- Experience in a behavioral healthcare hospital setting, call center and crisis work is a plus.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Able to pass a background check, drug screen, and meet qualifications for fingerprint clearance.
