MusicWorks is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit music therapy provider in the Delaware Valley, PA. We are looking for a caring, energetic, self-starting music therapist! If you are committed to making a difference - this job is for you!
MusicWorks continues to grow and we are looking for an empathetic music therapist to join our team. This Music Therapy position is to conduct small group music therapy sessions in our Haboro Treatment Center, school-based programs, and for agencies in the community.
Ideal candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule – mornings, afternoons and evenings and Saturdays. Schedule varies each day/evening and is Tuesdays through Saturdays.
Our music therapists are responsible for:
· Conducting assessments for new clients.
· Developing and writing music therapy treatment plans.
· Facilitating sessions in our centers and / or in local community based programs.
· Writing progress notes to document individual and group progress.
· Being a detail-oriented professional capable of documentation of music therapy sessions.
· Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations in all client interactions.

Qualifications:
· Board certified in Music Therapy (MT-BC). Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred.
· Business skills would be an asset to assist in scheduling, program coordination, and new program development.
· Two or more years of clinical experience in music therapy for autism and intellectual disabilities of all ages.
· Maintain professional competence and productivity as defined by MusicWorks and professional standards.
· Reliable transportation is necessary; valid driver’s license.
· Excellent organizational and exceptional time management skills.
· Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership aptitude. Necessary to communicate with all levels management, personnel and parents/caregivers.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team.
· Strong problem solving skills and ability to manage time effectively.
· Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records preferred. Knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Canva is a plus.
· Ability to use a variety of instruments including your singing voice
· Perform all other duties as assigned.
· Must be on time and professional.
· Clearances required.
