Life Renewal Services, Inc., a state-licensed, community-based mental health center, with four locations that are located in Carroll County, Howard County, and the Baltimore Metropolitan area, providing counseling, psychiatric and behavioral health services for adolescents and adults. Life Renewal Services is seeking qualified individuals for part-time contractual fee for service positions for Psychiatric Rehabilitation Counselors for our Howard County, Maryland location.

This direct service staff supports adults and/or children with a mental illness currently receiving mental health counseling. Services will provide on-site and off-site self-care skills, social skills, including community integration activities, developing natural supports and linkages with and supporting clients' participation in community activities, independent living skills, medication monitoring, and promotion of illness self-management.

Responsibilities: Part-time day availability needed for working with adults. Selected candidates will complete 40 hours of on-the-job training prior to working with clients independently

Requirements: Interested candidates should have a minimum of an A.A. Degree and /or 30 college credits in a health-related field or at least one year of relevant work experience under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional. Must possess superior communication skills.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
