Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves assisting in lead client programming, supervising RBTs, and helping shape the clinical foundation of our growing company.
This is a flexible, part-time or full-time position with opportunity for high impact through collaboration, leadership, and training development. 1099 or W2 status available
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and behavioral assessments for clients with developmental disabilities.
- Supervise RBTs (weekly observation, session feedback, documentation)
- Participate in program development, training materials, and clinical SOPs
- Mentor new RBTs and junior BCBAs as team grows
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Collect and analyze data to measure client progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Provide training and support to staff, caregivers, and families on behavior management techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health.
Experience
- A minimum of two years of experience working in a BCBA role
- Credentialed with: CalOptima, Aetna, Magellan, Optum are preferred
- Experience creating staff trainings, materials, or SOPs
- Previous leadership, mentoring, or training of behavior staff
- Proficiency in data collection methods, patient assessment, and medical documentation is essential.
- Experience in providing direct patient care and conducting diagnostic evaluations is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with behavioral health principles and practices, particularly in applied behavior analysis, is required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team are crucial for success in this role.
