Peace Behavioral Health is looking for a part-time Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Neuropsychologist to start as soon as possible in our unrushed out of network boutique practice. Flexible hours, above market rate compensation per hour or assessment, and option to quickly move from part time to full time within a year. Pay is listed per hour but can also be done per assessment.

Essential Qualifications:

✔ Experience conducting psychological testing, particularly for IEPs and for other educational benefit. We would like to perform testing and provide reports well above and beyond the minimum standard often done within the school system.

✔Experience and comfort working with children and adolescents, especially ages 10+

✔ Willing to do a mix of in-person visits in Saco and/or Portland (we are flexible with which location), telehealth could be done as well if appropriate.

✔ Licensed in Maine.

✔ You would be starting our psychoeducational/neuropsychological testing programs. We are run by a psychologist and psychiatrist with some but not extensive experience performing testing. We are happy to assist but you would need to be able to perform the evaluations and reports and know which tests to perform at least mostly autonomously. In short you would be the ultimate expert in your department. We will help in getting you set up and are open to providing whatever you need to do excellent work.

Optional Qualifications that would be valued:

⮚ADOS testing experience.

⮚1-3 anonymized written reports available for review

We’re a small out-of-network psychiatrist (husband)/psychologist (wife) owned clinic, you would be the 11th member of our team. We want to remain small and provide high quality services in a close knit and friendly environment. You would be joining 2 PhD Clinical Psychologists, 5 MD/DO Psychiatrists (3 Child and Adolescent Fellowship trained), 2 LCSWs, and our office manager. We value remaining in contact to help each other grow as clinicians and to provide support, many of the patients you will be seeing will also be seeing a psychiatrist and/or psychologist or therapist within the practice and we will seek to collaborate care. We take pride in only providing appropriate referrals and I believe your testing experiences would overall intellectually stimulating.
