Schedule: Full Time


Shift : Monday - Friday with 2 weekends a month rotating


Location: 100 Hospital Drive, Hendersonville, NC 28792

The role you 'll contribute :


Provides behavioral health therapy services for adolescent and women in an acute care setting.


The value you'll bring to the team:


-Conducts comprehensive assessments to include risk assessment and establishes therapy treatment objectives


-Provides referrals for patients within the agency and community


-Administers individual, family, and group therapy sessions


-Documents therapy observations and maintains records, while adhering to confidentiality protocols


-Evaluates patient progress and therapy intervention effectiveness


-Provides patients information about community resources and therapeutic activities


-Works directly with patients, family members, physicians, and community providers to ensure collaborative and


continuous care


-Maintains solid clinical skills including knowledge of DSM-IV-TR and DSM-5, community resources, process of


payor source identification, and short-term intervention strategies


-Evaluate patient data, develops and implements a treatment plan for the patient


-Responsible for performing psychosocial assessments on patients to determine social service needs, diagnosis and


treatment plan. The assessment to be completed within 60 hours of admission


-Identify and intervene for suspected abuse, including sensitivity to age specific concerns


-Participate in the multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, providing clinical input


-Formulates discharge plan in collaboration with the multidisciplinary treatment team, the patient and the family. Assure


outpatient appointments are scheduled upon inpatient discharge


-Coordinates the continuum of care of patients between Behavioral Health Programs


-Demonstrate working knowledge of the involuntary commitment process
