Position Overview

Sunbelt Staffing is hiring a skilled School Psychologist to join a Sheridan school district for the 20252026 academic year. This full-time contract role offers the opportunity to support K12 students through psychological evaluations, counseling, and collaboration with educators to enhance student outcomes.

Key Duties

• Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and eligibility evaluations.

• Assist in developing individualized education plans (IEPs).

• Deliver counseling and behavior interventions based on student needs.

• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Participate in student progress monitoring and MTSS/RTI processes.

Qualifications

• Valid Colorado School Psychologist License or eligibility.

• Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology required.

• Prior school-based experience preferred; internships considered.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Familiarity with special education law and behavioral strategies.
