About Job
AMA Pediatric Therapy is a non profit organization, currently recruiting a BCBA to provide consulting and supervision services at American Montessori Academy (AMA) school locations in the downtown Chicago area - both South Loop and Andersonville campuses. This includes supporting students, families, and staff by providing direct and consultative services in both the assessment and planning for the behavioral needs of students.
AMA Pediatric Therapy provides an integrated therapy approach where the most effective techniques from Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) are enhanced by integrating the Montessori educational philosophy. We strive to provide a mindful therapy approach that fosters a diverse, and inclusive culture to nurture Maria Montessori’s vision of empathy, compassion, and respect. Our therapists use a variety of evidenced-based practices grounded in ABA to build verbal and adaptive skills in a safe and consistent learning environment for children of all abilities. AMA Pediatric Therapy serves children engaged in the Montessori environment, ages two to nine years old, diagnosed with ASD and related conditions.
