Position Overview

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team for the upcoming school year. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of remote work combined with on-site responsibilities in Camden, DE

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.

  • Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral challenges.

  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans and accommodations.

  • Serve as a resource to staff regarding student behavior, learning, and mental health concerns.

  • Offer crisis intervention and support during emergency situations or critical incidents to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff.

  • Maintain meticulous and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring to inform decision-making and facilitate continuity of care.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.

  • Current Delaware School Psychologist License.

  • Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational or clinical setting.

  • Proficiency in psychological assessment tools and techniques.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Ability to work both remotely and on-site as needed.
