Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) with psychiatric experience to join our growing team. This role will involve psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive and mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments.

• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing psychotropic medication management.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document in compliance with clinical and legal standards.
• Collaborate closely with supervising psychiatrist for case discussions, quality assurance, and ongoing clinical guidance.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the EMR system.
• Participate in team meetings and clinical case reviews.
• Maintain appropriate licensure and continuing education.

• Provide compassionate, patient first care in alignment with Mind Health Group’s mission and values.

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted license as a PMHNP or PA-C in Michigan or Florida.

• Must be licensed in Michigan.
• Comfortable with virtual care platforms and documentation systems.
• 1–2+ years of psychiatric experience in outpatient, inpatient, or telehealth settings.
• Comfortable working independently with access to collaborative support.
• DEA license in good standing (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong sense of integrity, empathy, and commitment to patient-centered care.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2–5 years of psychiatric experience, especially in outpatient psychiatry.

• Experience with crisis intervention or higher-acuity patient populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual care best practices.
• Board certified by ANCC (for NPs) or NCCPA (for PAs).
• Proficient in DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and treatment of common psychiatric conditions.
