Job Summary
As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with behavioral challenges, particularly those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Your primary responsibility will be to implement behavior management strategies and care plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to help clients develop essential life skills. WE WILL TRAIN!
Duties
- Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA
- Work directly with individuals with autism to teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors
- Assist in the collection and analysis of data on client progress
- Collaborate with the BCBA to develop and modify treatment plans
- Provide support in activities of daily living (ADLs) and skill-building exercises
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client progress and behaviors
Skills
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with care plans and applied behavior analysis principles
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder
- Knowledge of special education practices
- Understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health
- Ability to work compassionately with children and adolescents
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining medical documentation
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
