About Job

New Behavioral Network is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work at Mount Laurel, NJ. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping young children develop safer, healthier behaviors through one-on-one support.

Position Overview:

  • Role: Per Diem Behavior Interventionist
  • Location: Mount Laurel, NJ
  • Schedule: Monday- Thursday from Flexible Schedule

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work under the guidance of a BCBA to implement a tailored behavior intervention plan
  • Provide direct support to reduce SIB and reinforce positive, alternative behaviors
  • Collect data on behaviors and progress, collaborating closely with the supervising BCBA to adjust strategies as needed
  • Partner with family members and caregivers to ensure consistency and support

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Registered Behavior Techinician through the BACB Board.
  • CPR Certified.
  • Bachelors Degree preferred in ABA Therapy, Psychology or related field OR High School Diploma with at least 3 years of experience providing ABA Therapy or working with IDD clients
  • Experience working with young children, particularly those with SIB or challenging behaviors
  • Strong understanding of ABA principles (RBT certification preferred)
  • Excellent communication and patience, with a compassionate, client-centered approach
  • Background in psychology, special education, or a related field preferred
