Duties

Are you Wilder's next mental health provider? Join our multidisciplinary Community Mental Health & Wellness team at Wilder in providing clinical service delivery that supports our community's mental wellness, critical to Wilder's mission of improving lives today and for generations to come!

We have an opening for a fulltime individual/family therapist position with Wilder's School Based Mental Health team. A unique feature that sets the Wilder school based program apart is that we hire staff who possess the skills, lived experience and language specificity to work with the diverse clients of the metro. Therapists also support rites of passage (ROP) events for students and their families. ROP events are co-facilitated with community partners including elders, artists, musicians, poets and other community leaders. Participants engage in experiences that grow confidence, community, and pride.

Wilder is a first-implementer Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). As part of this innovative model of mental health care, we collaborate closely with other service partners in ensuring coordinated, integrated care for clients and their families.

As a Mental Health Practitioner/Professional, you will provide individual and family mental health treatment in school, home, community, and virtual settings. You will also conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and complete progress notes. Lastly, the job includes partnering with the school mental health team to support the student in the school setting.

Job Qualifications

Those applying must have a Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or clinical counseling. A Mental Health Professional (LICSW, LMFT or LPCC) license is preferred, but Master's Level Practitioners (Clinical Trainees) working towards licensure are encouraged to apply.

A strong understanding of child development and the importance of family work is imperative. A passion for serving individuals and families in our community, and in providing trauma informed mental health treatment is paramount.
