Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Journey ABA provides evidence-based ABA therapy to children, adolescents, and adults with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our dedicated team helps clients reach their goals and participate more fully in the daily activities they find valuable in a variety of community settings.
What you will be doing:
- Conduct assessments to identify factors influencing client behavior.
- Collaborate with families to develop individualized intervention plans.
- Work in-home and in the community with families and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to implement programs, provide training, and promote generalization.
- Conduct initial assessments, reassessments, and progress report evaluations.
- Develop and oversee individualized treatment and behavior support plans.
- Supervise and train Behavioral Technicians to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Create and monitor behavior management protocols and intervention plans.
- Provide training and guidance to families and caregivers in managing challenging behaviors and teaching replacement behaviors.
- Conduct Functional Assessments and Functional Analyses when necessary.
- Monitor program effectiveness, analyze data, and adjust plans as needed.
- Design positive behavior support and skill acquisition plans with individualized goals.
- Train parents, caregivers, and behavior therapist staff in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
What we require from you:
- Doctoral or Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Active BCBA certification.
- Credentialed with MassHealth
- Active MA LABA (or ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire).
- Ability to be credentialed with all funders, including Medicaid.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience in the healthcare industry.
- Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with supervision and training.
- Strong executive function skills and ability to multitask.
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical and/or home services setting.
- Ability to travel within a 20-mile radius to provide services and supervise clinical staff.
Flexible part-time and full-time schedules are available.
- Part Time: Starting at $70 per hour
