Our Crisis Hotline Responder provides vital support to individuals experiencing mental health crises in Clermont and Brown Counties. This role is based at our office in Mt. Carmel, Ohio, with potential for remote work after probationary period. Responsibilities include managing crisis calls, conducting lethality assessments, providing referrals, and ensuring effective crisis management.
Essential Responsibilities
- Employ active listening techniques to de-escalate callers experiencing mental health concerns.
- Provide immediate crisis management and stabilization support, including suicide risk assessment.
- Collaborate within a team to deliver crisis interventions to adults, children, and families.
- Participate in ongoing trainings to enhance professional skills and support program development.
- Facilitate linkages to essential services and community resources.
- Maintain accurate client records and comply with Ohio law and Child Focus procedures.
- Collect data and complete reporting required for 988 implementation.

Requirements: Hours:
28-40 hours per week (Evenings and Weekends)
Degree Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with 2 years of mental health experience
Degree Preferred:
Master’s or Bachelor’s in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology
License Required:
LSW, LPC, MFT
License Preferred: LISW, LPCC, or IMFT
