- Gain specialized technical knowledge about our product lines, their applications, and our vendors to better assist our customers.
- Primary direct contact for customers.
- Provide superior customer service, including timely processing, communication, and follow-through of all inquiries, quotes, orders, complaints, returns, and corrections.
- Gain extensive knowledge of account and requirements and special-handling situations; the ability to get the desired results for each individual customer.
- Gain and maintain proficiency with all applicable inside sales functionality within quote/order processing software.
- Gain, maintain, and document knowledge of both customer and vendor portals.
- Gather and provide relevant information to sales and management teams, documenting information as applicable.
- Work cooperatively with other associates; be a team player.
- Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission and values.
- Maintain professional business relationships within target accounts.
- Provide status of ongoing projects and future projects.
- Identify customer's needs and sales opportunities to help future growth.
- Complete other tasks as requested.
- Exhibit exemplary client service skills, to all people, regardless of level inside or outside of the company.
- Build relationships and alliances to solve problems and achieve objectives by sharing knowledge and information.
- Follow through with all customer expectations and accountabilities.
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure to resolve issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook), with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two (2) years related experience.
- Mechanical aptitude.
