- Greet patients with a positive and professional attitude
- Place outbound calls to current and former patients for the purpose of scheduling follow-up hearing tests and consultations and weekly evaluations for the clinic
- Collect patient intake forms and maintain patient files/notes
- Schedule/Confirm patient appointments
- Complete benefit checks and authorization for each patients' insurance
- Provide first level support to patients, answer questions, check patients in/out, and collect and process payments
- Process repairs under the direct supervision of a licensed Hearing Care Professional
- Prepare bank deposits and submit daily reports to finance
- General sales knowledge for accessories and any patient support
- Process patient orders, receive all orders and verify pick up, input information into system
- Clean and maintain equipment and instruments
- Submit equipment and facility requests
- General office duties, including cleaning
- Manage inventory, order/monitor stock, and submit supply orders as needed
- Assist with event planning and logistics for at least 1 community outreach event per month
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associates degree, preferred
- Prior experience/knowledge with hearing aids is a plus
- Professional verbal and written communication
- Strong relationship building skills with patients, physicians, clinical staff
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- EMR/EHR experience a plus
- 2+ years in a health care environment is preferred
- Previous customer service experience is required
