Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients and their families.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments and ensure effective interventions.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists, educators, and family members, to provide holistic care.
- Provide training and support to staff on behavioral strategies and interventions.
- Advocate for clients’ needs within various settings, ensuring access to appropriate resources and services.
Requirements
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis is required.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is essential.
- Proficiency in medical records management and documentation practices.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation related to patient care.
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments and develop tailored behavioral strategies.
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis methodologies is a plus.
