- POSITION SUMMARY
- o Is currently licensed as a psychologist in the state of North Dakota. Is responsible for direct clinical care to include performing psychological testing, psychological assessments, diagnostic evaluations and delivering primary therapy and program services to patients within the Mental Health Department, Trinity Hospital/Medical Center and for contracted services. This position requires competency in developmental issues and life span issues specific to the training and areas of specialty defined by the psychologist’s practice standards. Operates as a member of a multidisciplinary team and is accountable for quality outcomes/practices. The Psychologist reports to the Director of Mental Health Services.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses and Certifications Required
- North Dakota license, in good standing with no restrictions.
- Educational Requirements
- Doctorate degree.
- Experience Requirements
- Two years’ experience preferred working with adults, children, and geriatrics. Can specialize if preferred, i.e., child/adolescent, geriatrics, neuropsychology.
- Special Skills or Training Requirements
- Rural mental health needs preferred.
