About Job
- Qualified Social Worker responsible for assessing and intervening regarding the needs of chronically or terminally ill children and their families.
- The pediatric social worker is the primary social worker for the pediatric care programs including Hospice, Perinatal Loss, and Partners In Care.
- Education and/or Experience: Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a school of Social Work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
- Licensure: Requires LCSW
- Strongly prefers 1 year of social work experience.
- Previous experience working with seriously ill children preferred. Must be comfortable working with pediatrics.
- Continuing Education: As required for licensure.
- For field-based positions, employees must have reliable transportation which will enable them to perform tasks and responsibilities in a timely and appropriate fashion. Must provide proof of valid automobile insurance, a copy of which will be placed in the employee’s HR file.
