Blue Sea is looking for skilled and experienced LBA/BCBAs, to act as consultants to teachers and administrators, assist with the day-to-day supervision of designated students and the overall support of classroom-wide Positive Behavior Supports.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Collect data on student behaviors to monitor progress and make adjustments to intervention plans
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and develop Behavior Intervention Plans, as needed
- Provide training to teachers, paraprofessionals, and other staff on behavior analysis principles and strategies
- Provide oversight and quality assurance on functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans
- Monitors timelines and due dates of evaluations
- Analyzes data and create graphs for visual and analysis of data
- Review completed FBA’s to ensure written report is up to standards
REQUIREMENTS: No exceptions
- Must be a current Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) and/or Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Strong Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and clinical skills
- Self-disciplined: Able to schedule and attend to duties as necessary
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Reside in Nassau or Suffolk County
- Have your own reliable transportation
