POSITION: Case Manager (Full Time Regular)

SHIFT: Weekdays, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (may vary)

LOCATION: Redlands / Yucaipa, CA.

DUTIES: The Case Manager position is to assist the therapist in charge of daily clinical operations and to provide clinical services to persons who are in the Outpatient levels of care and Transitional Living. The Case Manager is a person who possesses the proper certifications within the fields of Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health. This position is a direct contact position working with our Outpatient and Transitional Living Level of Care Patients and is responsible for leading group sessions and completing required documentation. This position works in concert with the Clinical Director, Program Director, and Chief Operations Officer.

QUALIFICATIONS: Following are the qualifications required to perform the essential functions of this position. Qualifications may be subject to modification based on the Americans with Disabilities Act. Bilingual abilities are desirable but not required.
  • Must have a High school diploma or equivalency.
  • 5 years experience in substance abuse disorder treatment.
  • Must possess certification in the field of Substance Use Disorder Counselor (CADC I, CADC II, CADC III, LAADC or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and understand the English language.
  • Must be able to read and follow directions and policies.
  • Must have valid California driver’s license and liability insurance if driving a personal vehicle on duty.
  • Able to stand, stoop, bend squat and reach for purpose of performing job duties such as handling materials stocked on shelves, filing, and lifting. Routinely lift and move items weighing up to twenty-five pounds; is expected to ask for assistance and use a dolly or cart for any heavy items.
  • Proficient in crisis intervention and management, knowledge of behavior management techniques and verbal de-escalation processes


  • Must understand the inner workings of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA)

Vision, hearing, manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination must be adequate for the performance of job duties. Must have experience with basic computer skills. Able to stand and walk most of the working day and to physically perform other job duties. Duties may require occasional use of a stool or small ladder. Specific qualifications may vary based on the assignment.

Recovering individuals must have a minimum two years clean, sober and abstinent to be considered for employment.
