Description :$19/hr.!Full Benefit Package!33 paid days off 1st year!Medical Scribe is a paraprofessional who acts as a personal assistant to the CCC Psychiatrist and collects information from patients in real-time during their sessions. Writing down details about the patient’s presenting issues, medical history, diagnoses, prescriptions and discussion of side effects or risks of various treatments all under the close supervision of the CCC Psychiatrist. Scribes check patient charts to confirm they are complete and track down any missing details. Organization and time management skills are a requirement, to systematically complete documentation, communication with CCC unit staff, discharge, and court related tasks between patient sessions, while keeping up with the clinical pace of the Psychiatrist.Demonstrates knowledge of co-occurring disorders and appropriate interventions. Services are predominately delivered to an adult population who carry a serious mental illness, substance use, co-occurring and/or co-morbid diagnosis.QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of high school diploma or general education development (GED).
Plus, Minimum of 3 years of experience working with data entry, retrieval, and monitoring/reporting.
Preferred- Associate degree, preferably in a research-oriented social science, science, or business.
Minimum of 2 year of experience in data entry, management and/or analysis.
Experience with research and evaluation in behavioral health or as a research assistant is preferred.
Knowledge is preferred of behavioral or primary healthcare.
Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Typing Proficiency
Excellent Organizational Skills
Knowledge of Medical Terminology
Adaptable and versatile
Must have skills in precise spelling, punctuation, grammar, and oral communication
