About Job

A full time Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) will assist with programmatic work under the direct supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide oversight and supervision to line technicians within the Tulane Center for Autism and Related Disorders (TCARD). The position includes assisting with recruitment and on-boarding of Registered Line Technicians (RLT), developing and providing training for RLTs and parents, supervising RLTs as they implement the ABA treatment protocol, helping with special programming within the clinic, and offering educational opportunities within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences as requested.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities1. More than 3 years of experience working with children and adults2. Knowledge of ABA program development and implementation
Required Education and/or Experience1. Bachelor's degree in education with focus on behavior analysis or related field (e.g., psychology, education, speech/language pathology)2. 1+ year(s) experience implementing ABA programs for children and adults with disabilities3. Board certification or board certification-eligible for assistant behavior analyst position through BACB4. Current LaBAA SCABA license (or license eligible) in good standing
Preferred Qualifications1. Experience with training and management of staff2. Knowledge of and experience with insurance credentialing and submission of claims3. Knowledge of local school systems4. Strong ties to the Greater New Orleans' autism community5. Commitment to professional growth and development6. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and time management skills7. Ability to communicate with colleagues in a clear and efficient manner regarding daily tasks of the job8. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact patiently and professionally9.
