Position Summary

Serenity House Counseling Services, Inc. is seeking a passionate, licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our multidisciplinary team delivering trauma-informed behavioral healthcare to underserved individuals and families. This is a Part-time position of 15-20 hours per week with a strong potential to become full-time as our practice grows. We serve clients with co-occurring disorders, many of whom are uninsured or in recovery from substance use. This is a newly created position that will provide psychiatric services to address the full spectrum of clients' mental health needs, not limited to those with substance use or co-occurring disorders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric elevations and follow-up medication management appointments
• Collaborate with licensed Counselors, Recovery Coaches and Case Managers
• Utilize trauma-informed, harm reduction, and person-centered care models
• Document timely notes in system and participate in care coordination
• Provide in-person and telehealth appointments

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Illinois
• Minimum 1 year of experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment
• Commitment to serving high-SVI, marginalized populations

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
