About Job

Music Therapist job for a part time, school based position to provide evaluations and therapy services to qualifying students, attending ARD meetings as required, and providing consultation to school staff

This job is in person at multiple schools and grade levels across the greater Houston area. This is a PRN position that includes evaluations and a possible therapy caseload based on the districts needs. This position begins in August.

Music Therapy rates start at $76.80/hr

Qualifications for Music Therapist positions

  • Current certification from the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CB-MT)
  • A minimum of 2 years experience providing Music Therapy related services to school-aged children
  • Familiarity with special education processes and student services
