Psychiatrist Job Opportunity at Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health in Washington, DC
The newly built Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, located in Washington, DC, is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join our team of dedicated professionals. This is a full-time, employed physician position with a nocturnist work schedule. The psychiatrist will provide care in Emergency Department, Consultative Liaison services and adult inpatient coverage.

The newly built Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, located in Washington, DC, is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join our team of dedicated professionals. This is a full-time, employed physician position with a nocturnist work schedule. The psychiatrist will provide care in Emergency Department, Consultative Liaison services and adult inpatient coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Consultations across various hospital departments.
- Collaboration with Emergency Department, GWU Residents, and Medical Students.
- Daily patient care management for an assigned caseload.
Ideal Candidate
- Board-Eligible or Board-Certified (BE/BC) in Psychiatry.
- Experience in working within a multidisciplinary team that includes Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Therapists, Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Care Coordinators, and Mental Health Workers.
- MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
- Board-eligible or certified in Psychiatry.
- Licensure to practice in Washington, DC or ability to obtain licensure.
- At least 4-5 years of training or relevant experience in Psychiatry.
- Meets all credentialing criteria for physicians.
