Our innovative and dynamic team is looking for a Bilingual Financial Coach with a passion for serving and a commitment to excellence.
Position Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who has the ability to interact effectively and confidentially with individuals we serve. The Financial Coach must be able to work independently and as a productive member of our dynamic Pathfinders team.
The Financial Coach will assist participants of the program with goal setting in the area of budgeting, credit building/rebuilding, debt reduction, and savings. We are looking for an individual who can support our mission, is passionate about helping people better manage their finances and who will represent our organization professionally.

Duties, Responsibilities & Expectations:
· Learn the Pathfinders curriculum and related financial coaching materials
· Facilitate group workshops on various financial topics (training provided)
· Conduct individual financial coaching sessions (training provided)
· Obtain Financial Coaching Certification (training provided)
· Develop positive relationships with clients, to engage, motivate and encourage them to create action plans to accomplish their financial goals and create good financial habits
· Conduct intake assessments and follow-up assessments of participants
· Strong proficiency in the tracking, documenting, compiling and reporting data
· Cultivate a strong working relationship with community organizations
· Represent Pathfinders and the Financial Capability Program to the community through interaction with other agencies and participation in events
· Travel to local partner sites required and reimbursed
· Some evenings / occasional Saturdays with adjusted workday hours
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Experience with personal money management and understanding of financial concepts
· Exceptional public speaking skills
· Ability to perform financial coaching sessions with individuals, couples, and families
· Experience with direct client services
· Experience in facilitating trainings and workshops
· Be flexible, adaptable, and positive in a constantly changing environment
· Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
· Good analytical and problem-solving skills
· Be detailed-oriented, with a willingness to learn new skills and techniques to promote quality, efficiency, and successful client outcomes
· Knowledge of the principles and practices of social service agencies a plus
· Demonstrates an understanding and acceptance of equity, inclusion and diversity concepts and that they are broader than just race, ethnicity, and gender
· Knowledge of Working Family Success (WFS) model or Bundled Services Model of service delivery a plus.
· Training in financial coaching a plus
· Client database use and knowledge a plus
· Client database, CRM, ETO or Apricot software system knowledge a plus
· Bilingual in Spanish a plus
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; Social Work degree a plus
· Competence in MS Suite programs
· Must have access to reliable transportation with valid auto insurance and driver license
Salary commensurate with experience and educational experience.
