The counselor hired will provide clinical services to adults and/or youth who have been referred for outpatient substance use disorder services-including case management, crisis intervention/management, individual/family/group counseling, treatment planning, education, orientations, intakes, and assessments. They will network with various individuals, agencies, and businesses to initiate/maintain referrals to the agency; refer patients to self-help groups, services, and agencies; provide ongoing supervision of the client’s individualized plan of care -documenting activity and progress in the patient record; maintain electronic patient records in accordance with standards/regulations established by licensing, governing, and accreditation bodies; prepare, maintain, and/or process various reports and documents as required; attend and participate in all staff meetings, case consultations, and interagency staffing; educates /train individuals and groups on substance use disorders and/or related topics, and comply with all state and federal laws governing patient privacy and confidentiality.

Master's degree required; professional counseling or social work license strongly preferred. Must be certified in Addictions Counseling within three years of hire.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $49,000.00 per year
