Keene High School, part of SAU 29, is actively seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as the Director of School Counseling. This is a pivotal leadership role at the high school level, responsible for guiding our comprehensive school counseling program, empowering our students, supporting our dedicated counseling staff, and playing a key role in our administrative systems.
We're looking for a leader who will:
Inspire and mentor a team of talented school counselors.
Develop and implement innovative counseling programs that meet the evolving needs of our diverse student population.
Foster a culture of college and career readiness, social-emotional well-being, and academic achievement.
Manage and optimize our PowerSchool Student Information System (SIS) for courses, instruction, and student registration.
Collaborate effectively with administration, faculty, parents, and community stakeholders.
Champion an inclusive and supportive environment for all students.

Qualifications
- Skills in Student Counseling, Counseling, and providing psychological support
- Proficiency in Mental Health and Psychology practices
- Experience in Program Development and implementation
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
- Master’s degree in School Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Licensure or certification in school counseling or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with educational systems and strategies for student development
