Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients to enhance their quality of life through evidence-based interventions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and assessments of clients to identify behavioral challenges and needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, ensuring that they are tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
- Implement and monitor behavior intervention strategies using applied behavior analysis techniques.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists, educators, and family members, to provide holistic care for clients.
- Provide training and support to staff on best practices in behavioral health and patient care.
- Advocate for clients' needs within the community and assist in connecting them with additional resources.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical records management and documentation practices.
- Strong skills in data collection and analysis related to behavioral interventions.
- Knowledge of patient assessment techniques and behavioral health principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on improving client outcomes through applied behavior analysis.
