Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled child and adolescent outpatient therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide therapeutic services to children, adolescents, parents and families in an outpatient setting, helping them navigate their unique challenges and promoting positive mental health.
Duties
- Maintain a caseload of youth and/or parents, conducting intake assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based therapy tailored to the specific needs of each client.
- Collaborate with families, schools, and other professionals to provide holistic support.
- Stay current with best practices and engage in continuous professional development.
- Manage crisis situations effectively, ensuring the safety of clients while providing immediate support.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards in a timely manner.
Skills
- Master’s in Social Work with licensure (LLMSW/LMSW)
- Experience working with children and adolescents demonstrating an understanding of dynamics within family systems is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive therapeutic space.
- Strong crisis management skills to address urgent situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Ability to conduct effective patient assessments that inform treatment strategies.
