Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless patient experience by providing exceptional administrative support in a dental office setting. Duties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information about services offered.
- Schedule appointments and manage the patient calendar efficiently to optimize office flow.
- Collect and verify patient information, including dental history and insurance details.
- Assist in maintaining accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Coordinate communication between patients and dental providers to facilitate care plans.
- Handle administrative tasks such as answering a multi-line phone system, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Support billing processes by verifying insurance coverage and assisting with claims submissions.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure that patient needs are met promptly and effectively.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Proficiency in office software applications and electronic health record systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
