We are seeking an Audit Director to take ownership of the Americas (US, Canada, LAC) annual audit plan.

This role reports to the VP & Head of Internal Audit who is located at the Company’s headquarters in New York. To foster collaboration and engagement, we require team members to be in the NYC office a minimum of three days per week.

We will count on you to:

  • Manage stakeholder relationships across the region.
  • Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership in the region.
  • Lead the Americas based audit team.
  • Design and execute a portfolio of audits that aligns to our business’s strategic priorities.
  • Oversee the execution of audits to ensure they are conducted to industry and company standards.
  • Continually seek opportunities to leverage technology, whether with AI or data analytics, in all aspects of the audit plan
  • Ability to think strategically, identifying themes and trends that help the business meet their strategic priorities.
  • Possess the leadership skills to retain, develop, and lead this highly effective and well-regarded team.

  • Takes ownership for implementing change despite opposition or barriers.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Internal Audit leadership team to continually increase value and effectiveness.

What you need to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 10 years of audit experience
  • Eligibility requirements met for any of the following: CPA, CIA, CISA

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $158,900 to $317,900.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
