Schedule: Full-time

We're proud to announce the opening of our newest treatment center in Concord, MA, specializing in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment for adults.

Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Counselor to provide clinical services to adult clients in our residential treatment program. The Counselor is responsible for conducting assessments, facilitating individual and group therapy, collaborating with the treatment team, and helping guide clients through their recovery process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess behavioral, emotional, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of clients and their families

  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team

  • Facilitate clinical services including individual, family, and group therapy sessions

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with program and licensing standards

  • Participate in utilization review processes by providing required documentation

  • Support the development of aftercare plans and participate in outcomes tracking

  • Contribute to curriculum development and clinical program enhancement

  • Provide crisis intervention support and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment

  • Conduct Level of Care Assessments as needed

  • Participate in clinical on-call rotation as assigned

  • Complete all required training and adhere to licensing, accreditation, and internal standards

Qualifications (Per Massachusetts Regulations)
Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:

  • Master's Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work,
    counseling or related field
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social
    work, counseling or related field and certification
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
  • Certification as a CADAC/MH Counselor/LADC is also preferred or to be enrolled in a certificate or degree
    program relating to the Addictions/ Mental Health Field and a minimum of two years of experience.
  • Substance use certification Prefer (LDAC or CDAC)
  • Counselors that support clients with substance use disorders counselors with master's or bachelor's
    degrees in a related field and certified or licensed substance use disorder counselors, licensed mental
    health counselors

Preferred Experience

  • Background in residential treatment and/or experience working with clients with SUD and co-occurring disorders

  • Familiarity with electronic clinical records (ECR) and evidence-based treatment practices
