About The Role
The Alcohol & Drug Counselor plays a vital role in empowering individuals affected by substance use disorders. In this full-time position, you’ll conduct comprehensive assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and lead both individual and group counseling sessions. You’ll collaborate closely with clients to help them meet their recovery goals, improve their quality of life, and build a path forward. The position also includes maintaining accurate records and progress notes to support client care and meet regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Must be licensed as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC)
Must have a minimum of an associate’s degree in social services or a closely related field, or equivalent experience and/or training
Experience in the substance use disorder field is preferred, but not required
